Today I was down in Regional Melbourne photographing the fantastic Dentistry@Ballarat.

The practice retains it’s gorgeous Victorian Style facade whilst sporting an ultra-modern interior.

SMS Management & Technology Christmas Party: Ivy Bar, Sydney 2010

Tonight I was at the famous Sydney bar Ivy, photographing the Christmas Party for SMS Management & Technology. The theme for the evening was James Bond and it seemed every second person was carrying a toy gun or water pistol.

The highlight of the evening was the show put on by the cocktail bar men. They executed a great performance by juggling flaming bottles and spitting huge fireballs.

One Steel Portrait Session

Out at One Steel Headquarters today for some Departmental Team shots.

These will be used on a series of posters to promote One Steel’s different areas of service, from Admin and Accounts, to Delivery and Factory.

The shots were taken on location using my portable studio and 2 flash units.

Comms Day 2010

Yesterday and today I was hanging out at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney for the annual Comms Day Summit. Many industry heavy-weights were in attendance and it was up to me to shoot them all.

I always enjoy these sorts of shoots, as they are quite a departure from what I normally do. Patience and a quick trigger finger are the key here, it’s amazing just how much a small hand gesture or facial expression can mean the difference between an average shot and a great one.
